PEACE!
So he came and proclaimed peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near. (Ephesians 2:17)
"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid." ~Jesus (John 14:27)
"I came that they may have life and have it abundantly." ~Jesus (John 10:10b)
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7)
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” ~Jesus (John 16:33)
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23)
If you confess that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised him from death, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:1)
A Prayer for Peace
God, I am not even sure that you are real but I am tired of being in bondage to the things that are destroying me. Please forgive my sins and set me free. Give me your Peace and make yourself real to me. Please help me to be a new person. I invite Jesus to come into my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
